I'm officially a member of the Sony Alpha Collective!
I’m officially a member of the Sony Alpha Collective- a coalition of Sony photographers and videographers who are passionate about creating new imagery.
One of the perks of being a part of this collective, is that Sony puts together a handful of amazing trips throughout the year for us to go on and shoot with their new products along with other collective members. This was my first trip with Sony to Chaing Mai Thailand, led by legendary photographer Ira Glass, where we photographed the Lantern festival, Monks, and elephants. Before the trip, I didn’t know anyone besides my pals Dave Krugman and Jane Kim, but became close with the other talented creators Dan Orst, Ananya Ray, Johnny V, Matt Ferr, Phil Nguyen, Jason F, Morgan Crumply, and Mic-Anthony Hay.
Halloween Dogs
I photographed some pups at a special NYC tradition: the 29th Annual Halloween Dog Pagent
NBA Draft 2 second Cameo
Made it on ESPN for a couple of seconds while Photographing Luka Samanic getting drafted in the first round of the NBA draft by the Spurs at Barclays!!
LAMN 7th Annual Run, Walk, and Roll!
An annual tradition: I come back to my hometown in Bethlehem PA, to photograph my friend Shane's event for his non-profit, Laughing at my Nightmare, which has a mission to spread a message of positivity while providing equipment grants to those living with muscular dystrophy.

Reality Storytellers '19
Was honored to be among the class of Reality Storytellers ’19: a week-long leadership journey in Israel that gathers award-winning authors, filmmakers, producers, publicists, writers and other creative leaders who shape narratives about society’s most pressing challenges. I was the only photographer on the trip, which was a nice change of pace since most of the people I spend time with are all photographers. I came away from this experience becoming so close with strangers that are now close friends. I learned so much about myself, and liberated myself from personal things holding me back. This is an experience I’ll never forget.
History.
While on assignment photographing for Adobe Project 1324 in Berlin, I stopped over in Hungary and found the front door to the apartment building my grandpa Miki lived until October 1944, before being sent to the ghetto for the next 3 months until they were liberated by the Russians- just short of being sent to concentration camps.
Working with NAFA in Nepal.
For the last couple weeks of March, I worked with Nepal Adoptive Families Association to document us conducting workshops, throughout multiple children's homes in Kathmandu, teaching the kids basic health and sanitation practices such as the '6 steps to wash your hands.' We also trekked through the Himalayas and saw a lot of yaks.
I juuuuust finished editing my second ever (vlog?) to recap this experience.
Presenting my 'Today I Photographed' Series
Had the opportunity yesterday morning to talk about my 'Today I Photographed' series to the Global Teen Leaders of the Just Peace Summit 2018.
In the afternoon, the GTL's were assigned to make their own version of my series; we wandered around NYC asking strangers on the street to take a portrait of them while also learning something that makes them special. Everyone's images and stories made me so happy.
Thanks for having me We Are Family Foundation x Three Dot Dash <3
Annie Hall Remake
My friends, Matt Starr & Ellie Sachs, directed a Annie Hall remake with a twist: the actors were senior citizens. Read more about the movie and how to watch it HERE.
I came on for a couple of shoot days to photograph stills of the film as well as the poster for the movie. Edit: NYT has a write up on this show! Read it HERE.
Children of Promise
In New York, there are 105,000+ children with an incarcerated parent.
This weekend, some friends and I got together to shoot hoops & photos with the kids at Children of Promise, NYC, which is the first and only after-school program/summer day camp for these kids that guide them on a path of a healthy and productive future.
