Reality Storytellers '19

Was honored to be among the class of Reality Storytellers ’19: a week-long leadership journey in Israel that gathers award-winning authors, filmmakers, producers, publicists, writers and other creative leaders who shape narratives about society’s most pressing challenges. I was the only photographer on the trip, which was a nice change of pace since most of the people I spend time with are all photographers. I came away from this experience becoming so close with strangers that are now close friends. I learned so much about myself, and liberated myself from personal things holding me back. This is an experience I’ll never forget.

WOW this trip was a trippp. I applied late last year to the @realityisrael Storytellers experience- where a diverse group of 50 writers, filmmakers, politicians, producers etc from all over came together for 8 days in Israel to learn about the past + present times of the country and to drive conversations, shape opinions, and expose truths together. Here’s a collection of a few of my favorite snapshots & portraits from our travels through the Masada, West Bank, Tel Aviv, and Jerusalem. I shown so much about the rich yet complicated history of Israel that a book or youtube video can’t portray, but to my surprise, I learned even more about myself and getting closer to finding my true identity. I feel so blessed to take part in this educational, spiritual, and vulnerable experience with some other incredible people who I now call friends. Now that I’m back, I take a fresh breath of air and inspired keep living life with a better sense of purpose and will to make the world a better place bit by bit. 😌
